Raita is an Indian accompaniment / Dip for Briyani, flavoured rice, Hot Curries.
2. Add chopped onion, chilli and garlic to the yogurt and stir
3. Add Salt , chopped coriander to the yogurt and give it a stir
4. In a small pan heat oil. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds. Let the seeds pop. Switch of the flame. Add fried cumin seeds to the raitha
4. Spoon the Raita into a bowl and chill until ready to serve
5. Before serving garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Ingredients
- 1 Large Red Onion
- 2/3 Cup Natural Yogurt / Curd
- 2 Tablespoon Fresh chopped Coriander
- 1 Small Green Chilli
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1/2 Teaspoon Oil
- 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- Salt as required
