Paneer Tikka - Grilled in Oven



100 Grams of Paneer



  • 4 Tablespoon Hung Curd
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt as required
  • dry herbs (optional ; I used thyme)
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil

  • Directions

    1. Cut Paneer in to big cubes / chunks
    2. Mix all the ingredients listed under marinate


    3. Add paneer cubes to the marinate and coat every cube of paneer with marinate


    4. Set aside for 30 min
    5. Grease a cookie sheet / baking tray. Arrange paneer cubes on the tray and grill it in the oven for 18 to 20 min, flipping side after 8 min. If you do not have grilling option in your oven, then bake it at 180C / 350 F for 15 min and then broil for 5 min, flip sides once during baking and flip sides once during broil


    6. I had some extra marinate, hence I marinated few sliced onion and grilled them along with paneer

    7. Serve hot with your favourite dip
