Tawa Paneer Masala

Tawa Paneer masala is a dry side dish prepared with paneer and green bell peppers.Tawa means 'griddle' in Hindi. Since this dish is prepared in Tawa, its named as tawa paneer masala. It is easy to prepare and tastes delicious. Anything with butter / ghee has to taste delicious. This one is prepared using butter. Onions and green bell peppers caramelized in butter filled the entire kitchen with nice aroma. My son rushed to kitchen and asked me, ' amma, I smell something nice'. I told him its the smell of ghee with onions. We had this paneer sandwiched between bread slices. You can serve it with roti / naan or as a side to flavoured rice
