Chunky Raw Mango / green mango Jam. Spread it on bread / dosa or eat it as such. Its delicious !
2. In a heavy bottomed pan, add granulated sugar and brown sugar along with 1/3 rd cup of water and bring it to boil
3. Stir in to dissolve sugar completely. Once the mixture comes to boil, reduce the flame and cook the sugar for 5 minutes
4. Now add the cooked mango chunks to the sugar mixture and cook on medium flame until the jam reaches required consistency
5. Stir in roasted cumin powder
6. Cool the jam completely and then store in air tight container
Ingredients
- 2 Cups raw mango chunks ( peel remove skin and chop the mango into thin big chunks)
- 1 Cup granulated white sugar
- 1/2 Cup dark brown Sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon ground cinnamon / cinnamon powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon roasted cumin powder ( optional )
- a big pinch of salt
